Córdoba police unit increases staff to 44 agents
The Provincial Headquarters of the National Police Unit attached to the Autonomous Community of Andalusia in Córdoba has increased its staff by 15 new agents. This reinforcement brings the total number of officials in the province to 44, up from the previous 29 members.
The new personnel, including a sub-inspector and several officers from various scales, joined the unit during May. These additions are intended to enhance operational capacity in areas such as environmental protection, natural resources, heritage, and administrative policing related to the competencies of the Junta de Andalucía.
Adolfo Molina, the Government Delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Córdoba, stated that the increase is a response to security needs linked to regional competencies and demonstrates a commitment to improving public services and citizen protection. The new members have completed required update training at the Institute of Emergency and Public Security of Andalusia.
