Córdoba promotes mathematics through provincial and international olympiads

The Ministry of Education of Córdoba is promoting mathematical learning through various provincial and international competitions. The Colegio Superior San Martín recently hosted the Provincial Mathematics Olympiad, an initiative under the ‘Córdoba Aprende en Acción’ program. The event brought together students from different grade levels to test their knowledge and foster peer exchange.

Additionally, the province is participating in the 2026 Matific LATAM Mathematics Olympiads, an international competition utilizing artificial intelligence and gamification for students aged 4 to 15. As part of the ‘Compromiso Alfabetizador Córdoba’ goals, the provincial government is placing special emphasis on third-grade students. Schools with outstanding performance in third grade—including urban, rural, public, and private institutions—will be awarded educational field trips to promote integration and experiential learning.
