Córdoba ranks as the world's most walkable city

Skyscanner has released a ranking of the top 10 most walkable cities globally, focusing on emerging destinations rather than obvious choices like Berlin or Dubrovnik. The index evaluated cities based on 14 criteria, including the distance between major attractions, the number of walking paths, air quality, safety, and population density.

Spain’s Córdoba took the first position, noted for its historical significance and the ease of visiting sites like the La Mezquita and the UNESCO World Heritage Old City. Other top destinations include Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan, Reggio Calabria and Bolzano in Italy, Monte Carlo in Monaco, Tartu in Estonia, Bursa in Türkiye, Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.
