Córdoba ranks third in Latin American educational performance in PISA 2025

The province of Córdoba has achieved one of the highest educational performances in Latin America according to the PISA 2025 results. Evaluating 2,242 students from 79 schools, the province ranked third in the region, trailing only Uruguay and Chile, and surpassing countries such as Colombia and Costa Rica.

In contrast to the overall decline in Argentina, which recorded its worst historical numbers since 2006 and ranked ninth in the region, Córdoba maintained or improved its standing. The province outperformed the national average in all evaluated categories: Science (434 points), Reading (417 points), Mathematics (393 points), and Digital World Learning (441 points).

In the Science category, Córdoba showed a 12-point improvement compared to its 2022 performance. The provincial government has highlighted these results to emphasize the distinct functionality and success of its local educational system compared to the national context.
