Córdoba reports over 300 crime victims in six months

In the first six months of 2026, the municipality of Córdoba recorded over 300 victims of injuries and business robberies, according to data from the Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública.

The statistics show 178 total injuries, consisting of 109 intentional injuries and 69 accidental injuries. Among the intentional injuries, 19 involved knives, 9 involved firearms, and 81 involved other elements. Additionally, there were 16 victims of violence involving firearms, including 9 intentional injuries and 7 homicides.

Business robberies reached 125 cases, with 69 occurring through violent means and 56 without violence. These figures come as Mayor Manuel Alonso promotes Córdoba as a tourist destination for the upcoming vacation period.
