Córdoba Science Fair selects 149 projects for provincial stage

The 58th Alberto Maiztegui Science, Technology, Arts, Movement, and Innovation Fair has concluded its regional stage in Córdoba, Argentina. Following an evaluation by a commission of over 200 specialists, 149 projects were selected to advance to the provincial stage scheduled for September 8 in Córdoba city.

The evaluation process reviewed 695 regional projects, focusing on originality, creativity, and pedagogical contributions. The initiative, supported by the Ministries of Education and Production, Science, and Technological Innovation, aims to connect education with the productive sector through the STEAM approach.

Among the participants was the CEBJA N. 3-076 ‘Cora Teijeiro de Acosta’, which presented ‘Proyecto Oliva’. This project focused on transforming the local tradition of making green olives in preserves into a scientific learning experience, integrating science, technology, mathematics, design, and communication.
