Córdoba Spring Day celebrations drive $42 billion economic impact

Spring Day celebrations in the province of Córdoba mobilized approximately 320,000 people, generating an economic impact exceeding $42 billion, according to the Agencia Córdoba Turismo.

High attendance was particularly notable in key destinations. Embalse and Potrero de Garay reached 100% hotel occupancy, necessitating the redirection of visitors to nearby accommodations. Villa Carlos Paz reported an average occupancy rate of 65% driven by various festivities and activities.

The influx of visitors stimulated multiple sectors, including lodging, gastronomy, transportation, commerce, and services. Darío Capitani, president of the Agencia Córdoba Turismo, stated that the movement demonstrates the province's capacity to attract visitors and energize the entire regional economy, benefiting thousands of families and businesses.
