Córdoba Symphony and Polyphonic Choir celebrate anniversaries
The Teatro del Libertador hosted a lyrical gala to celebrate the anniversaries of the Córdoba Symphony Orchestra and the Córdoba Polyphonic Choir. The orchestra marked 94 years since its first concert on August 7, 1932, while the choir celebrated 76 years following its debut on August 16, 1950.
Under the general direction of maestro JongWhi Vakh, the event featured vocal soloists Pía Gray, Anahí Cardoso, and Maximiliano Spósito. The program included a selection of arias and choruses from renowned composers such as Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Gioachino Rossini, and Antonín Dvořák. Marcelo Rodio highlighted the international recognition of these permanent artistic bodies and emphasized the importance of continued institutional support for the province's cultural artists.
