Córdoba: TikToker arrested for killing 16-year-old stepson

A 16-year-old boy, Lautaro Córdoba, was murdered in a rural area of Copacabana, Córdoba, Argentina. The crime was discovered after his mother, Antonella Vanesa Torres, reported domestic violence to local authorities.

Police arrested the victim's stepfather, Hermenegildo Acosta, and his 17-year-old son. Acosta, a TikTok creator with over 63,000 followers, reportedly claimed that the victim and his partner were “possessed by the demon” and were attempting to kill him.

Investigators found the teenager with multiple injuries and evidence of a shotgun wound to the head. Authorities have charged Acosta with homicide qualified by treachery and aggravated by the participation of a minor, while his son faces charges of qualified homicide. The case is being investigated as a “linked femicide” due to the context of violence against the mother.
