Córdoba to host international frontenis tournament

The city of Córdoba, Veracruz, will host an international frontenis tournament from August 21 to 23. The event is expected to bring together approximately 20 world champions in both men's and women's categories, along with representatives from the Argentine national team.

Mayor Manuel Alonso Cerezo emphasized the importance of promoting the sport to younger generations. The tournament will take place at two private venues, Club Campestre Cordobés and Casino Español, both of which will be open to the public for free viewing. While the city currently lacks a public fronton court, there are ongoing projects to develop free sports spaces for citizens in the future.
