Córdoba transport workers reach wage agreement

The Municipality of Córdoba, the Unión Tranviarios Automotor (UTA), the Federación de Empresarios del Transporte Automotor de Pasajeros (FETAP), and TAM SAU have signed a wage agreement for urban passenger transport workers. The deal follows weeks of service interruptions and assemblies.

Effective September 1, 2026, workers will receive a 10.5% increase in base salary and remunerative additions. The agreement also includes an extraordinary bonus of 60,000 pesos and a daily travel allowance (viático) of 22,000 pesos for days worked.

Retroactive adjustments were also established: a 6.2% increase for July will be paid as a 200,000-peso bonus on October 2, and a 2% increase for August will be paid as a 200,000-peso bonus on November 10. The agreement includes commitments to social peace, guarantees against salary deductions during union information assemblies, and clauses regarding gender equality in employment and working conditions.
