Villa General Belgrano hosts 42nd National Alpine Chocolate Festival

The 42nd edition of the National Alpine Chocolate Festival took place in Villa General Belgrano on July 11‑12. Admission was free and the program featured a variety of artistic performances, cultural activities and gastronomy throughout the winter vacation weekend. On Saturday, shows included Las Memorias de Jazmín, a musical by the School of Arts, a circus show by Cambalache, Tiroler Kinder, the folklore group Tierra Adentro, the Die Biermusikanten orchestra, the traditional chocolate fondue, and performances by Grupo Tirol, Discman and Simulacro Verde. Sunday’s lineup offered Las Aventuras de Charito, Fan Fa y Re Sueltos, jazz and ballroom dance, the municipal choir, the Centroeuropea Municipal Alpenklang orchestra, folklore groups Raíces Serranas and Enzian, and concluded with Grupo Musical 4 Quesos. Visitors could also enjoy artisanal chocolates, family‑friendly recreational activities and a range of regional foods.
