Crea-MG reports 1,000 inspections and 145 violations in Patrocínio

The Minas Gerais Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council (Crea-MG) carried out about 1,000 inspection actions in Patrocínio during 2025, uncovering 145 irregularities. Across the state, the agency performed 73,864 inspections in 853 municipalities, an eight‑percent increase over the previous year, while total infractions fell 21 % to 12,940. Seventy‑four point five percent of the violations involved individuals lacking technical qualification or firms operating without registration. Crea‑MG emphasized preventive guidance and direct action against illegal practice, with President Marcos Torres Gervásio stressing the importance of safeguarding public safety and the reputation of licensed professionals. The inspection team also highlighted growth in the registration of Technical Responsibility Notes (ARTs), which rose 2.2 % to 863,232 in 2025.
