Creality expands SPARKX line with multi-color 3D printers

Shenzhen-based manufacturer Creality has announced new developments in its SPARKX product line, focusing on multi-color 3D printing technology for desktop users.

The SPARKX i7 Nano has been released with a starting price of $299. This model features the CFS nano Kit, a compact filament feeding system that mounts directly onto the printer to support up to four colors. The system reduces the required desktop footprint by 37% compared to previous external units. Technical specifications include a build volume of 260 x 260 x 255 mm, maximum print speeds of 500 mm/s, and an integrated 720p AI camera for print monitoring and failure detection.

Additionally, Creality is preparing the SPARKX i8, which utilizes a proprietary QuarTeks technology. This system aims to minimize the time and material waste typically associated with multi-color printing by keeping the common filament path to just 1.7 mm near the hotend. Creality claims this allows for color changes in under one second and significantly reduces the amount of purged material compared to traditional single-nozzle systems.
