Cream Stew hosts press conference for new Fuji TV variety program

Comedy duo Cream Stew, consisting of Shinya Ueda and Teppei Arida, held a press conference following the recording of their new Fuji TV variety program, ‘Cream Talk! Cho Taiken!? Grand Prix’, which is set to premiere on January 15.

During the briefing, Shinya Ueda discussed his demanding schedule, noting that his total number of regular television programs will reach 14 this autumn. While he expressed a desire to focus more on his private life at age 56, he joked that ‘television stations won’t let me go’. Teppei Arida teased his partner by referencing a famous anecdote involving singer Toshihiko Tahara, jokingly suggesting Ueda should avoid becoming too ‘big’ to prevent a similar fallout.

Arida also shared personal anecdotes about spending time with his daughter, while Ueda discussed a recent hobby of collecting stickers. The duo maintained their characteristic comedic rapport, with Ueda jokingly complaining that changes to the filming schedule were being made to accommodate Arida’s overseas vacations.
