Create Danza to perform ‘Tentazioni d’Opera’ in Torre Marrana

The contemporary dance production ‘Tentazioni d’Opera’, directed and choreographed by Filippo Stabile, is scheduled to perform on August 16 at Torre Marrana as part of the C.A.T. – Capo Arte Teatro Festival.

Performed by the Create Danza company, the show integrates contemporary movement with the musical traditions of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. The choreography draws inspiration from timeless operas such as La Traviata, Nabucco, Aida, Madama Butterfly, and Tosca, aiming to create an immersive experience where movement serves as a narrative tool.

Filippo Stabile, who founded the Create Danza cultural association, established the group to focus on experimental dramaturgy and theatre-dance. After a career in Europe, Stabile has returned to Italy to promote dance and provide training to dancers in the Calabria region.
