Create Music Group appoints Hayley Silvertown as Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer

Create Music Group has appointed Hayley Silvertown as its new Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer. Based at the company’s Hollywood headquarters, Silvertown will oversee legal and business affairs functions while partnering with the executive team on strategic transactions, investments, and partnerships.

Silvertown previously served as outside counsel for Create for over three years, advising on key acquisitions and the firm’s first institutional equity raise. She joins the leadership team from the law firm Paul Hastings and has held roles at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Sheppard Mullin, ICM, and Warner Chappell.

Founded in 2015, Create Music Group operates as an owner-operator of various labels, catalogues, and creative businesses, including Monstercat, !K7 Music, Cr2 Records, and Mau5trap. A recent $165 million funding cycle led by Flexpoint Ford valued the company at $1 billion in 2024.
