Created Future plans to increase ownership in Digiworld

Created Future, an entity related to Digiworld Chairman Doan Hong Viet, has registered to purchase 2 million shares of Digiworld (DGW). If successful, the transaction, expected to take place between August 13 and September 10, will increase the organization's ownership stake from 31.47% to 32.38%.

This move comes as Digiworld reports strong financial performance. In the second quarter, the company recorded net profit attributable to shareholders of 309 billion VND, a 167% increase year-on-year. Revenue reached nearly 7,300 billion VND, up 27% compared to the same period last year. Growth was primarily driven by the laptop and office equipment segments.

Additionally, other corporate leaders are increasing their holdings in the Vietnamese market. Executives from DICERA Holdings have registered to buy shares of DC4, and the HD Fund Management Company has increased its stake in Petrosetco (PET) to 18.74%.
