Creative arts exhibitions showcase multimedia collaborations in Indonesia

Indonesia is hosting several major creative events in late 2026, highlighting the intersection of various artistic mediums. The Jakarta Illustration & Creative Arts Fair (JICAF) 2026, themed ‘The World We Draw’, features collaborations between music, illustration, and animation. Notable projects include musical works by idgitaf, Guruh Gipsy, and Hindia being translated into visual formats, as well as the ‘SketchRasa’ project where travel illustrator Nugraha Pratama and culinary expert William Wongso collaborate to turn Indonesian culinary traditions into ceramic plate designs.

Simultaneously, the ‘The Untitled’ art exhibition is running from October 2 to 17, 2026, at 2Madison Gallery Kemang and 2Madison Plaza Pondok Indah in Jakarta. The exhibition features 14 artists from various regions, including Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. A key highlight of the show is the collaboration between painter Agus Wicaksono and 2Madison Avenue, which translates canvas artworks into wearable fashion products, merging visual art with design and fashion.
