Creative Assembly announces Lords of the End Times DLC

Creative Assembly has announced ‘Lords of the End Times’, described as the largest DLC in the history of the Total War: Warhammer III trilogy. The expansion is scheduled for release on September 24, 2026.

The DLC will introduce four new legendary lords: Nagash, the Supreme Lord of the Undead; Grey Seer Thanquol; Boris Todbringer; and the Glottkin brothers. Each lord comes with unique faction units, including Verminlords for the Skaven and the Celestial Hurricanum. The package includes 8 legendary heroes, 23 new battle units, and 12 famous regiments. Players can purchase individual lords or a complete bundle.

A significant gameplay change will allow players to access the ‘Immortal Empires’ mode by purchasing a single lord from this DLC, removing the previous requirement of owning earlier titles in the trilogy. Additionally, free updates will include a rework of the Vampire Counts faction, featuring Neferata as a fifth legendary lord, and campaign mechanic overhauls for Archaon the Everchosen, alongside new endgame scenarios such as Chaos Invasion, Vermintide, and Nagash Rises.
