Creative Center Nitra announces October cultural program

The Creative Center Nitra (KCN) has announced its October program, featuring a variety of theatrical, cinematic, and educational events. A major highlight is the October 30 premiere of ‘Prestaňte!’, a new production by Divadlo Pôtoň that explores female perspectives and draws inspiration from the legacy of Bertha von Suttner.

The schedule includes several professional workshops, such as a screenwriting session for an upcoming horror film being produced in Nitra, photography lessons by Henrich Mišovič, graphic design training with Marek Štepánek, and jewelry making with Barbora Opátová.

In observance of Mental Health Month, KCN will host a day of activities on October 17, including a discussion on self-acceptance and life featuring actor Roman Poláčik. Additionally, the center is expanding its rental offerings, with Kino Palace now providing access to an outdoor garden space and updated laser technology for visual projections.
