Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya engages in local cultural activities

Indonesian Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya has participated in various cultural and community activities across Central Java to promote local creativity and tradition.

In Bojonggede, Bogor, the Minister joined elementary school students for Gimersia Playday, an initiative by the Ministry of Creative Economy. During the event, students played Sambelina, a local board game developed by Segara.id, which aims to encourage social interaction and motor skills as an alternative to digital device usage.

In Wonosobo, Central Java, Minister Riefky visited Giyanti Hamlet, where he was taught to play the bundengan, a traditional bamboo musical instrument. Artist Sri Mulyani, founder of the Ngesti Laras Dance Studio, provided instruction on the instrument, which originated from traditional headwear used by duck herders.
