Creative industries in Guatemala and communication experts in Argentina hold major forums
In Guatemala, the AGEXPORT Orange Economy Commission is organizing Expo Creative Hub 2026, also known as the VI Orange Economy Forum. Scheduled for November 5 and 6 in Guatemala City, the event aims to provide businesses and creative professionals with tools in marketing, artificial intelligence, and audiovisual lighting to strengthen service exports. This initiative follows UNCTAD data showing global creative service exports reached US$1.7 trillion in 2024, a 12% increase from the previous year.
Meanwhile, in Corrientes, Argentina, the XXIII National Meeting of Social Communication Careers (ENACOM 2026) has commenced. Organized by the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste and FADECCOS, the three-day event features specialists such as Carlos Scolari, Martín Becerra, and Silvio Waisbord. The forum focuses on contemporary communication challenges, including digital platforms, artificial intelligence, democracy, and the transformation of journalism.
