Creatives Connect Afrika to return to Accra in 2026
The second edition of Creatives Connect Afrika is scheduled to take place in Accra, Ghana, from November 30 to December 3, 2026. Held at the Alisa Hotel North Ridge, the AfCFTA Tourism, Creatives and Cultural Industries Forum and Festival will focus on the theme “Entertainment-Led Tourism: Transforming Pan-African Creative Wealth into Global Economic Influence”.
The event aims to explore how Africa’s music, film, fashion, sports, and digital creative industries can drive tourism growth, improve destination competitiveness, and attract investment. By connecting entertainment stakeholders with tourism leaders, the forum seeks to identify opportunities for increasing tourist arrivals, creating jobs, and expanding intra-African trade in services.
The gathering is convened by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in collaboration with Africa Tourism Partners (ATP) and the Black Star Experience (BSE). It follows the inaugural 2025 edition, which focused on unlocking specific creative industries under the AfCFTA framework.
