Credit Bank wins squash title at KBA Interbanks Tournament

Credit Bank achieved multiple victories at the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) Interbanks Tournament, held from October 3 to 17. The bank’s men’s squash team secured the championship title after defeating Absa in the final.

In addition to the squash victory, Credit Bank CEO Betty Korir, who also serves as the KBA deputy chair, won first place in the annual CEOs’ Run. The bank’s women’s squash team finished fourth in their category.

The two-week tournament featured various disciplines, including squash, chess, athletics, and darts, held at the Institute of Monetary Studies and KCB Group grounds. Korir noted that the competition highlights how sports can foster discipline, resilience, and collaboration, qualities she stated are essential for both the workplace and customer service.
