Credit ratings for Portugal and Banco Traton Brasil under review

Analysts anticipate that Standard & Poor's will maintain Portugal's sovereign credit rating at A+ with a positive outlook during its upcoming assessment. Despite a small budget deficit, Portugal's public accounts are expected to perform favorably compared to the European average. Analysts suggest that while the economy has performed better than initially expected, the agency may wait for structural milestones, such as the upcoming State Budget proposal, before considering a rating upgrade.

In Brazil, Moody's Local has renewed Banco Traton Brasil's AAA.br rating with a stable outlook for the next 12 months. The rating reflects the bank's capital structure, liquidity management, and strategic alignment with Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus. Having operated for approximately one year, Banco Traton Brasil has reached an asset portfolio of nearly R$ 6 billion, focusing on credit solutions for transport operators and fleet owners.
