Creepshow video game released for PC by DreadXP and PHL Games
Indie horror publisher DreadXP and developer PHL Games, in collaboration with AMC Global Media, have released ‘Creepshow’ for PC. The game is an officially licensed adaptation of the horror anthology series from Shudder, produced by Evoke Entertainment.
Inspired by the television series produced by Greg Nicotero, the game utilizes an episodic format to deliver a mix of horror, dark humor, and comic-style visuals. The experience features three distinct short stories. The central narrative follows four teenagers at an abandoned mall, where a character known as ‘The Reader’ facilitates the storytelling process.
Creative direction for the project was provided by Brian Clarke. The game aims to capture the specific atmosphere of the original anthology series, offering interactive gameplay that mirrors the feeling of watching an episode of the show.
