Creighton University athletics see success in soccer and volleyball

Creighton University athletics reported significant early-season success for both its men's soccer and volleyball programs.

The men's soccer team has returned to the national rankings, placing in a tie for No. 23 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. This marks the first time the Bluejays have been nationally ranked since August 2023. The team holds a 3-0-1 record for the season, highlighted by a 5-0 victory over Tulsa and a 6-2 win against Florida International.

On the volleyball court, the No. 13 ranked Bluejays finished their opening weekend in Sioux Falls with a 2-1 record. The team secured notable victories against No. 9 Purdue and No. 20 USC, while suffering a loss to No. 14 Minnesota. Coach Brian Rosen praised the team's resilience following their loss to Minnesota as they prepared for their upcoming non-conference schedule.
