Crema Opposition Criticizes Delayed Bridge and Budget Plans

Opposition leaders in Crema denounced the centre‑left municipal administration for failing to provide clear solutions on school reopening, traffic, and the use of €40 million allocated for mobility. They argue that the temporary bridge, rejected by mayor Fabio Bergamaschi in September 2024, is now being rushed in as a stop‑gap measure rather than a planned solution.

The criticism was voiced by Andrea Bergamaschini (Lega), Laura Zanibelli (Forza Italia), Giovanni De Grazia (Fratelli d’Italia), Simone Beretta (Noi Moderati) and Ilaria Chiodo (Lista Civica), who said the administration’s emergency interventions are too late and inadequate, harming the city’s commerce and residents.
