Cremona announces upcoming cultural and astronomical events

Cremona is preparing for several cultural initiatives. The Torrazzo Planetarium will host a series of scientific outreach events titled “Conversazioni sul cielo e sull’universo” throughout October. Led by Alessandro Maianti, the program includes a cosmic fairy tale for children on October 3, followed by sessions on ancient astronomy, medieval astronomy, modern cosmology, and a guided tour of the Vertical Museum and the Torrazzo astronomical clock.

Additionally, the 2026 Festa del Torrone has been announced with the theme “Il Confine – Dove gli opposti si incontrano”. Organized by SGP Grandi Eventi and promoted by the Municipality of Cremona and the Chamber of Commerce, the event will run for sixteen days from November 7 to November 22, 2026. The expanded festival aims to bridge tradition and innovation, supporting the city’s candidacy for “Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2029”.
