Cremona hospital project faces criticism over costs and staffing

In Cremona and Oglio Po, general medicine departments are being outsourced due to a lack of nurses. Unions and political groups have warned that such outsourcing may increase private sector involvement in public healthcare. Some advocates are calling for a formal comparison between building the new facility and the deep redevelopment of the existing Ospedale Maggiore.
