Cremona hosts eighth annual Festa del Salame

The eighth edition of the Festa del Salame is taking place in the historic center of Cremona from October 9 to 11, 2026. Organized by SGP Grandi Eventi, the festival celebrates local charcuterie traditions through a mix of classic tastings and modern culinary experiments.

Key highlights of this year’s program include the debut of the ‘CiokoBurger’—a combination of salami, dark chocolate, and mustard—and the introduction of beer-flavored salamis. The event also features plant-based salami alternatives and spicy varieties like ‘Hot Cigolina’.

Beyond tastings, the festival includes the ‘Salami Stellati’ showcase of award-winning specialties and educational workshops such as ‘A Scuola di Salame’. The event also emphasizes regional identity through the ‘Strada del Gusto Cremonese’ and a dedicated ‘Villaggio della Mostarda’ to highlight Cremona’s mustard production.
