Cremona hosts international music fair and regional recruitment event

Cremona hosted the Cremona Musica 2026 international fair from October 3 to 5, featuring over 400 exhibitors and 55,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event highlighted the city's global reputation for high-quality artisanal musical instrument production.

A significant focus was placed on Friulian music and culture. During the Accordion Music Show, Luigino Squalizza presented ‘Musiche Furlane’, a collection of 14 compositions published by Edizioni Zaccaria. The collection includes traditional Friulian folk pieces and new compositions, including a reimagined version of ‘La Stajare di Zef’.

Additionally, a Recruiting Day is scheduled for October 20, 2026, in Cremona. Organized by the Employment Centers of Cremona and Casalmaggiore in collaboration with Gi Group, the event aims to connect job seekers with local companies. Participating businesses, including Gruppo Storti and MIC, are seeking personnel for roles in logistics, mechanics, metalworking, and industrial cleaning.
