Cremona Musica Expo & Festival hosts international music industry event

The Cremona Musica Expo & Festival is transforming Cremona into a global hub for the music industry, featuring over 400 exhibitors from more than 35 countries and a schedule of more than 200 events.

A central highlight is the inaugural Cremona Musica Piano Contest, organized in collaboration with Yamaha Music Europe and artistic director Roberto Prosseda. Designed for students of Italian conservatories, the competition requires participants to submit both a performance video and a personal narrative explaining their passion for music. Seven finalists have been selected to perform live on October 4 at the Sala Stradivari in CremonaFiere.

The festival includes diverse thematic sections such as Mondomusica, the Acoustic Guitar Village, and the Electric Sound Village. Cultural programming extends beyond the exhibition halls, including the “La chitarra ottocentesca” exhibition at the Museo Civico Ala Ponzone and various “Fuori Salone” events throughout the city.
