Cremona Youth Mural Near Completion in Boschetto Neighborhood

Ten adolescents, aged 14 to 18, are finalising a large mural titled “Rusticae Originis” on a private building at Via Crocile 21/23 in the Boschetto‑Migliaro quarter of Cremona. The work is part of the “Ci Sto? Affare Fatica!” project, which aims to involve young people in improving and beautifying urban spaces. The teenagers are assisted by a tutor selected by the Boschetto‑Migliaro neighbourhood committee, educators from the social cooperative Cosper and volunteer mentors.

The mural, depicting the rural roots and agricultural heritage of the area, received official approval from the Cremona municipal council on 22 July, which designated the wall as a new “Art Space”. With the project now in its final stages, the neighbourhood expects the artwork to become a distinct visual landmark that reflects both local identity and the collaborative effort of schools, civic bodies and community organisations.
