Cremona's Teatro Filo to host Puccini commemorative production

The Teatro Filo in Cremona will host “Puccini si racconta,” an original production celebrating the centenary of the premiere of “Turandot.” The event aims to recreate the life and artistry of composer Giacomo Puccini through his own writings from 1920 to 1924, combined with musical performances.

The production features soprano Astrea Amaduzzi, pianist Mattia Peli, and actor Alessandro Braga, who will portray both the composer and the man behind the music. The performance will incorporate letters, testimonies from collaborators such as Giuseppe Adami and Giovacchino Forzano, and a specially curated musical repertoire.
