Bologna and Cagliari vie for Verona striker Kieron Bowie as Cremonese sign Tommaso Berti

Italian clubs are active in the summer transfer market. Bologna has stepped up negotiations with Cagliari to acquire Verona forward Kieron Bowie, a player valued around €10 million, intensifying a rivalry with the Sardinian club for his signature.

Cremonese announced the permanent signing of midfielder Tommaso Berti from Cesena, a 2004‑born talent with Serie B experience and recent Italy U21 involvement. The club is also reported to be close to completing a deal for former Sampdoria academy player Simone Trimboli, with a proposed contract extension to 2028.

Meanwhile, Cagliari is focusing on solidifying its attack by aiming to retain veteran striker Andrea Belotti and promising forward Gennaro Borrelli, considering both players essential for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
