Creotech Instruments deploys Mikroglob satellite constellation into orbit

Creotech Instruments has reached a major milestone in the development of the Mikroglob Earth Observation Satellite System (SSOZ). The company successfully deployed three additional satellites—Mikroglob-2, Mikroglob-3, and Mikroglob-4—into orbit via a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on October 1, 2026.

These satellites have established two-way communication with ground infrastructure and have entered the orbital testing phase. The Mikroglob project is a strategic initiative commissioned by the Polish Armament Agency to bolster national security and defense capabilities through advanced Earth observation.

Additionally, the company has released the first imagery captured by the Mikroglob-1 satellite. The images, which utilize visible light and near-infrared (NIR) spectrums, show various locations including Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Dalian, China. This capability demonstrates the system's ability to provide high-resolution data and spectral information for monitoring specific objects or large geographic areas.
