Crest restaurateurs face supply crisis after vehicle vandalism

Restaurateurs Marion and Cyril Huin-Bauchat, owners of La Salle à Manger in Crest, Drôme, discovered their professional vehicle methodically stripped of its bodywork and parts during the night of September 24.

The vandalism has threatened the restaurant's ability to maintain daily supplies. A local mechanic suggested the incident may not be an isolated act, pointing toward a potential network involved in the resale of stolen spare parts.

In response to the damage and limited insurance coverage, the couple has launched an online crowdfunding campaign to recover from the loss.
