Cretan Series 3x3 basketball tournament to conclude in Gazi

The 3x3 basketball tournament Cretan Series is scheduled to conclude its current season in Gazi, Malevizi, on August 29 and 30. The event will take place at Michael Katsamani Square, which will be converted into an open court for participants and spectators.

The tournament features multiple age categories, including under 11, 13, 15, 18, and over 18. Matches will be held on FIBA-approved courts following international regulations and safety standards. The event is co-organized by the Region of Crete, the Municipality of Malevizi, and Nets Company.

This upcoming event serves as the finale for a season that has included stops in Ierapetra, Sissi, Heraklion, Rethymno, Lassithi Plateau, Sitia, Anogeia, and Neapoli. The recent eighth stop in Neapoli saw 30 teams compete across five age categories.
