Crete Development Organization signs contract to upgrade water supply infrastructure
The Crete Development Organization (O.A.K.) signed a contract to implement the "Upgrade of Water Supply Infrastructure" project. The agreement was signed on behalf of O.A.K. by Chief Executive Officer Aris Papadogiannis and, for the contractor Anyfanta Technical Construction Company, by its legal representative Dimitrios Anyfanta.
The contract is valued at €437,836.15 (pre‑tax) and is funded through the “Crete 2021‑2027” programme, co‑financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The work aims to improve the reliability, functionality and service quality of the water‑distribution network managed by O.A.K., benefitting residents and institutions across the island.
Papadogiannis said the signing “marks the start of another important project that strengthens Crete’s water‑supply infrastructure, ensuring reliability and meeting modern needs of the population.”
