Crete Region launches new cycle of Parent Schools

The Region of Crete has launched a new cycle of ‘Parent Schools’ following a preparatory meeting held on September 9, 2026, in Heraklion. The initiative involves collaboration between regional authorities, educational directorates, teachers' associations, the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (I.A.K.E.), and the METANUS Education, Innovation, and Development Group.

The program offers free in-person and remote meetings designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers of preschool, school-aged, and adolescent children. Additionally, the initiative includes specific actions tailored for educators, educational officials, and members of the parental community to strengthen social and educational engagement.
