Criciúma Esporte Clube and Unesc renew Tigrinhos Project partnership
Unesc and Criciúma Esporte Clube have renewed their partnership for the Tigrinhos Project, a social initiative involving 23 municipalities in the southern region of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The project uses football as a tool for social and athletic development for children aged 7 to 14.
In this new cycle, the initiative aims to reach 1,150 children. Since its creation in 2011, the project has impacted more than 20,000 children. The program focuses on social integration, discipline, and human connection rather than purely athletic performance. In municipalities like Lauro Müller, participation is prioritized based on commitment, attendance, and behavior within local social schools.
