Similarly, the Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) has raised concerns regarding the players’ share of revenue, specifically whether proceeds from club sales will be included in the ‘Australian Cricket Revenue’ used to calculate player payouts. The ACA has initiated a dispute resolution process to address these financial uncertainties.

Cricket Australia maintains that the decision is necessary to secure the long-term future of the game and remain competitive against global T20 leagues. The governing body has assured stakeholders that it will retain control over international scheduling, player availability, salary caps, and media rights to ensure that Test cricket remains the primary priority.
