Cricket Australia partners with Komo Technologies for fan engagement

Cricket Australia has entered a partnership with Australian-developed technology firm Komo Technologies for the 2026-27 season. The collaboration aims to enhance fan engagement and data collection across various formats, including international Test matches, One Day Internationals, Twenty20 fixtures, and the Big Bash leagues.

Using Komo’s platform, fans will be able to participate in interactive experiences such as live predictions, voting, and game-day activations. These features will be integrated across in-venue screens, broadcasts, and digital ecosystems like CricketPlus. The initiative seeks to replace traditional static surveys with active gamification to capture consented, first-party consumer data.

Annie Clare, Cricket Australia’s senior manager of Martech and Capability, stated that the platform provides a unified solution for in-venue, broadcast, and digital offerings. This approach is intended to help the organization understand fan responses more effectively while providing commercial partners with measurable engagement and return on investment.
