Cricket Tasmania and Firmus announce five-year partnership
Cricket Tasmania has entered into a five-year commercial and community partnership with Australian technology company Firmus. The agreement, which begins ahead of the 2026-27 season, includes more than A$1 million in direct financial investment into grassroots cricket initiatives across Tasmania.
Under the terms of the partnership, Firmus will serve as the Principal Partner of the Tasmanian Tigers and a Major Partner of the Hobart Hurricanes. The company’s branding will appear on the playing shirts for all Tigers programs, as well as the Men’s and Women’s Big Bash League teams.
The investment will be channeled through the ‘Beyond Boundaries’ initiative and community club grants. These funds are intended to support grassroots clubs with equipment, local programs, and projects aimed at removing barriers to participation and increasing opportunities for Tasmanians to engage with the sport.
