Cricket updates: ICC rankings shifts and BCCI venue clarification

The latest ICC Women's ODI rankings reflect significant shifts following Australia's performance against Bangladesh. Alyssa Perry has returned to the top 10 batters, while Annabel Sutherland and Megan Schutt have both climbed into the top five bowlers. Sutherland's rise to fourth in the bowling rankings follows an all-round performance including a four-wicket haul and 25 runs. In the batting rankings, Georgia Voll saw a substantial jump of eight places to reach 28th. Despite their series deficit, Bangladeshi players Nigar Sultana and Sobhana Mostary also saw ranking improvements.

In separate cricket news, the BCCI has officially denied rumors regarding the relocation of the India-Sri Lanka ODI match. Reports suggested the match scheduled for December 13 in Delhi would be moved to Ahmedabad due to renovation plans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia clarified that no such decision has been made and the match will proceed in Delhi as planned.
