Cricket updates: India A vs Australia A ODI series and Pakistan squad changes

India A is set to begin a three-match ODI series against Australia A starting October 6 at the CAPES Ground in Puducherry. Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the Indian side. Due to fitness concerns, Hardik Pandya has been excluded from the squad and replaced by Suryansh Shedge.

The India A ODI squad includes Sai Sudharsan, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, and Prabhsimran Singh. The series matches are scheduled for October 6, 9, and 11.

Separately, Pakistan is preparing for a three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi, beginning October 9. Reports suggest the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may implement significant squad changes based on recent performances in the 2026 Asian Games. Potential changes include Hasan Nawaz potentially replacing Salman Ali Agha, and Arafat Minhas potentially replacing Faheem Ashraf.
