Cricut Inc. announced the Cricut AutoPress 2 on July 28, 2026. The new automatic heat press measures 15 × 15 in, offers a pressure range up to 220 lb, temperature control to 410 °F, and a full‑slide-out tray. Priced at $349‑$379, it is far cheaper than the original AutoPress, which launched at $999.

The device adds four customizable presets, Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated guidance through Cricut Design Space, aiming to simplify heat‑transfer projects from apparel to batch production. A reviewer confirmed that the adjustable pressure improves performance on DTF, puff iron‑on, and sublimation materials, highlighting the larger heat plate and enhanced usability as the main upgrades.

CEO Ashish Arora said the AutoPress 2 is intended to give makers confidence and eliminate guesswork when pressing, positioning the product for hobbyists and small‑scale businesses alike.
