Crime drama series ‘MobLand’ and ‘Shetland’ launch new seasons

The second season of the crime saga ‘MobLand’ (Terra de Bandidos) has premiered, featuring Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza. Despite previous rumors regarding his involvement, Hardy remains the lead in the series created by Ronan Bennett and developed by Jez Butterworth. The production also features Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

In a separate development in the crime drama genre, the series ‘Shetland’ has launched its new season on STAR Crime. This marks the second consecutive season without Douglas Henshall, who departed the role of Jimmy Perez after seven seasons to provide a natural conclusion to the character's personal story. Ashley Jensen now leads the investigation as DI Ruth Calder.
